Welcome to our ninth season! This little game is a great way to keep yourself interested in the NFL playoffs long after your favorite
team has tanked it. Try it out; it’s cheap, easy, and fun!
This works much like a baseball rotisserie game. It
starts with the first round wildcard games and finishes with the Super Bowl. You
can draft anyone that you want and the points are accumulated through all the weeks.
You select a team that you will use for the entire playoffs and choose who to start each week. If your team is the most successful throughout the playoffs, you win!
Here’s how to play:
Select a roster from any
of the NFL playoff teams:
1 Coach
Tie-Breakers
1)
Predict Super
Bowl Winner. (prediction not due until final week roster deadline)
2)
Predict total
points scored in the Super Bowl without going over the total. (prediction not due until final week roster deadline)
Lineups
The status of any player can be changed up until mid-night on Friday prior to the weeks’ games. All line-ups must be submitted via e-mail to [polingbrad@yahoo.com]. If you miss the deadline, your last submitted line-up will be
used.
ALL ROSTERS AND FIRST WEEKS’ LINEUPS ARE DUE FRIDAY @ 12:00PM, JANUARY 04, 2008.
Riches & Spoils
Closest prediction of Super Bowl 5% (predict winner and predict total points scored without going over)
The last pay out is to put a little fun into it for those of us that pick a lousy team and have no chance of winning
otherwise. Submit your predictions before 9pm Friday night before the Super bowl to be eligible for this one.
It is open to all entrants so you could win the championship and the Super bowl pick.
If you haven’t noticed by now, it is possible for some of the teams to have similar rosters and line-ups. That is why the Super bowl is the final tiebreaker.
So submit your roster and week 1 line-up by Friday night and you are in. I’ll
publish weekly updates.
Regards and good luck,
Brad Poling
